Lastly for today...cell phone holder

I have a cell phone holder by Sak I got at a garage sale last year. I absolutely love it because I don't have to dig around in my bag looking for my phone.

I had gotten some Lion Brand ribbon yarn at Dollar Tree. I didn't know what I was going to do with it, but I couldn't resist.

So, I started making some cell phone holders. There is a button on the side so you can hang it wherever you want.

Leg warmers

My best friend in CA requested grey and pink leg warmers. Heehee

A couple new projects!

I've been a busy beaver lately!

I made my friend a plain old purple skull hat per his request. Then he asked me for a skull hat with the Captain America Sheild on it! I think I did pretty well...

Cupcake hat!

I just love the Fun Fur yarn. But it is a pain to work with. So, work with it in small doses!

I wanted to make my niece a puffy kind of hat with this as a trim. I made the pattern up as I went along, then because I liked how it turned out so much I made another and wrote it down.

Pattern only: $2

Hat: $20 shipped

Top Hat

You read that right, a top hat. A woman my mother works with got a bad haircut. So she wanted a top hat. I had to wing it and make it up as I went along, but I think it turned out pretty well. Oh, and she wanted a red flower for it.

Spiral scarf

I saw this great yarn at the store and had to buy it. Decided to make a spiral scarf out of it for a friend for her birthday. It isn't a great picture, I will try to get a better one.

When my niece saw it she wanted one! So I used the same yarn, but in

Pattern cost: $2
Scarf cost $20 plus shipping

Showing my creations!

After many years of not crocheting, I picked up my hook again.

It started out as leg warmers for me. Then a scarf for a friend, then one for my son, then a hat for my neighbor....

I started looking up patterns. I swiped my mother's Encylopedia of Crochet. I bought yarn and hooks and all of a sudden I couldn't put it down!

So I will be showcasing my creations here. Some of them are from patterns I found online. Others I just kind of created.

I'll be opening an etsy shop as well to sell my work.

Let me know what you think!
